Nestled in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, Ballinascorney Golf Club offers a pleasant golfing experience and the warmest of welcomes to members and visitors alike.As one of the most enjoyable 9-hole courses in the country, Ballinascorney offers a challenge to all standards of golfer. Founded in 1971, the club’s first home was Bohernabreena in County Dublin. The club moved to its current location in Kilmashogue Lane in Rathfarnham in 2002. Since then we have strived to continually improve the playing experience and in 2011 we completed an ambitious redevelopment and extension to the course which saw the construction of new greens and tee-boxes as well as the addition of two new par 5 holes. Ballinascorney also boasts a very lively social scene with Thursday Night Mixed social golf running from April to September each year; an annual club trip to sunnier climes each spring; our social committee organise events throughout the year which include an away day of golf with an overnight stay at a selected club in Ireland each year, bingo and bridge nights throughout the year when the evenings draw in; We have regular friendly golf competitions such as the Monday Mixed Comp and also an Open Mixed Timesheet every Saturday and Sunday with seperate comps for Men and Ladies– which are sure to have you coming back for more golfing fun week after week.
